I am super excited to announce not one, but two upcoming holiday events here at Griffeys’!

First of all, we will be having a special Black Friday Weekend Sale on Black Friday (November 25th) and Small Business Saturday (November 26th). On these two days, we will be open from 8am to 8pm so that everyone has a chance to visit the store! We have two special deals for this sale: 10% off ALL books in store (including rare, local, and indie books), OR buy-one-get-one 50% off any books by the same author. Fine print: these deals can’t be combined; we will apply whichever one gets you the most savings on your purchase!

Our second event is even more exciting: we are working with local event company Midwest Markets to host a Christmas market right here in our store! As many of you know, we have a lot of space in the back of our building that is currently serving as storage for our books, but could also be put to other purposes. So we will be opening up the back of the store to host 10+ local vendors, makers, and artisans on December 10th from 11am to 7pm. If you’re looking for an opportunity to get unique, locally-made gifts for friends and family, this market is for you!
