Hello everyone! Once again, it’s time for our monthly round up of what’s new and what’s to come. Here’s what you can expect from Griffeys’ in the month of June:

What’s New in Store

-Scarlet Huntress restock! We have issue one of this local superhero comic back in stock, plus the new issue, Scarlet Huntress: Reckoning.

-Locally-made stationary. We are slowly adding more bookish goods to the store, including stationary. Currently, we have beautiful Lino printed journals, stickers, and magnetic bookmarks created by Columbus-based artist Ash Morrell. More goodies and gift items coming soon!

-New seating and study areas. This one came up a bunch in our customer survey, and thanks to a generous donation of chairs from the Central Ohio Symphony offices, we’ve been able to make it a reality!

Upcoming Events

–June Gathering Market. June 10th, 11am-5pm. The Gathering Market is back for June! Local vendors, local artisans, an indoor market filled with gifts and goodies just in time for Father’s Day… you know the drill!

–Book Signing with Steven W. Wilson. June 17th, 5pm-6pm. Longtime Delaware resident Steve Wilson will be discussing and signing his new memoir Teetering on a Tightrope: My Bipolar Journey.

–Open Mic Night. June 23rd, 6pm-8pm. If you are interested in participating, please fill out the form here. We need your talents to make the open mic a success, so don’t be shy!

–Create-Your-Own Jewelry Party with lovegrows clay co. June 24th, 2:30pm-3:30pm. Reservation required. You can purchase tickets on the lovegrows clay co. website. Everyone will get to make and take home their own pair of custom earrings and a bracelet set. It’s going to be a great time!

–Game Night at Griffeys’. June 30th, 4pm-8pm. Game nights are here to stay! Join us anytime between 4pm and 8pm on the last Friday of every month.
