Hello everyone! It’s time once again for our monthly round up post as we look forward to the month of May. Here’s what to expect this month!
What’s New in Store
-Comic books and graphic novels.
Thanks to a friend of the store, we now have a huge selection of comic books available, with more on the way! Justice League, Batman, the Flash and more, with Marvel offerings coming soon. Stop in and flip through the racks!
–Book Signing with Andrew Welsh-Huggins. May 19th, 6pm-8pm. We are so excited to announce our next author event: Columbus-based mystery and crime author Andrew Welsh-Huggins will be visiting us to promote his latest novel, The End of the Road. If you’re a mystery or crime fiction fan, make plans to join us for the evening! You can RSVP via the official Facebook event here.
–Game Night at Griffeys’. May 26, 4pm-8pm. Our last game night was a big hit, so we’re bringing it back this month! Once again, we’ll have a selection of games available, or you can bring your own. We’d love to see you there!
–Special hours in early May. We will be getting married in May and traveling for our honeymoon during the week of May 9th through May 13th. Thus, we will be closed on May 5th and 6th for our rehearsal and wedding, and open 11am-5pm the following week. Normal hours and services will resume on May 16th. Please do visit the store and show your support while we are away! Our wonderful families will be helping us staff the store, and they would love to see you.
–No Gathering Market this month. In case you missed it, we have decided in conjunction with our market coordinator that, unfortunately, there will be no Gathering Market this month. You can read full details about that decision here. The market will return in June, just in time for Father’s Day! You can follow Maggie, our market coordinator, for updates, or apply for the Gathering Market here.
–If you haven’t already, please fill out our customer survey! Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve our business and keep Griffeys’ Book Emporium a place Delaware loves to shop. You can find the survey here.
