Hello everyone! I am back after an unexpected hiatus with a quick update for you all. Thank you for bearing with me!
First of all, I want to invite you to visit us at our final pop-up event of the year: Boozy Book Fair at the Oak & Brazen Wine Co. The event will take place October 23rd from 5pm-8pm at 38 E. Winter St. Delaware, Ohio. We have participated in this event several times over the past couple years, and it is always so much fun! We would love to see you there.
Second, I wanted to give a brief update and explain what you can expect from us through the rest of 2025. I mentioned this briefly on our social media pages a little while back, but due to some health issues as I near the completion of my pregnancy I will not be taking on any more bookbinding commissions until 2026 (nothing serious for me or baby, I promise! I just haven’t had the energy I was counting on over these past few months).
If you’re interested in being placed on the bookbinding and repair waiting list, please shoot us an email; just don’t expect to hear back until early next year! We will be on parental leave in November and December while we adjust to the new baby and I work on recovering from the pregnancy and birth. I am planning to post some updates on our social media pages, and I will send out any big updates via this newsletter as well, but you can definitely expect things to be much more sporadic during those months. Lord willing, we will be back in the swing of things come January. Thank you for understanding!
We have a lot of exciting plans for next year, including popping up at some larger events in the greater Columbus area, creating many more bespoke and custom bound books, and more! Please stay tuned; we can’t wait to share those plans with you in 2026. In the meantime, we hope to see you at Oak & Brazen, and then to settle down for some cozy time with the new baby over the winter. Thank you again for bearing with us during this transitionary period. We’ll talk again soon!
Sincerely,
Aria Griffey
Co-Owner
